I am dedicated to developing a more vibrant business environment in Mobile County that will attract businesses from around the world to relocate here. To this goal, I bring 30+ years as a successful businessman and communicator to the table. A huge fringe benefit of a revitalized business community will be more jobs for Mobile County.
NO NEW TAXES
I believe that the hard-working people of Mobile County don’t need more taxes. I vow to oppose any new local taxes.
ELIMINATING WASTE FROM COUNTY GOVERNMENT
I believe substantial savings can be achieved by identifying and eliminating duplication of services and wasteful spending at the local level.
SCHOOLS
Working closely with each and every school in District 3, I will find opportunities for improvement and help bring about solutions through my influence as a County Commissioner.
CRIME
I will support police and law enforcement in every way available to me as a County Commissioner.
INFRASTRUCTURE
So many dirt roads need paving, and bridges need repairing. I will fight for improvements in the infrastructure of Mobile County.
ACCESSIBILITY
In order to serve the people of Mobile County, I will be available through regular office hours and Town Hall Meetings.

Historically, the job or the County Commission has been to manage road and bridge projects. However, the job has evolved into much more than that. Now, in addition to managing roads, bridges, and administering county government, it also has become more of a diplomatic role.
With unemployment at 10.8%, we need to focus on luring businesses and jobs to Mobile County. We need to elect someone who is comfortable and experienced working with business to get companies with jobs to relocate to Mobile County.
I believe if you compare my business background with the other candidates, I stand alone.
My background is not politics; it is business. For 31 years I have started and run more than 20 companies in Mobile, the State of Alabama, and even some nationally. For a wide range of reasons, I have dealt with thousands of business people and hundreds of companies. On area of my background that applies to the job of County Commission has been assisting companies wanting to acquire other companies, and also helping to sell their companies. I understand the nuts and bolts of why companies would want to relocate their business.
